NON-OHIP INSURED SERVICES

The Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) provides coverage for a vast majority of physician services, however, some medical and administrative services are not covered. The responsibility for payment lies with the patient or the third party requesting the services. Below you will find a comprehensive list of non-OHIP covered services and their associated fees. These costs are in accordance with guidelines set by the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Completion time: Turnaround time for forms and paperwork to be completed is up to 45 days. We strongly recommend you submit your paperwork request early.  If you require faster completion, then you can request a rush premium as outlined below.

 

Rush premium (30%):  You may request a rush service if paperwork is required faster than our standard completion time. If a rush service is requested, turnaround time will be within 5 business days (subject to physician availability, not guaranteed). A 30% premium will be applied.

 

After-hours premium (30%): If physician services are required after 5pm on weekdays or anytime on weekends or statutory holidays, a 30% premium will be applied.
